MICHAEL D. ALLTMONT
Michael D. Alltmont practices primarily in the Firm’s Consumer Defense Section. Mike also assists several other practice groups when needed. Mike focuses on defending single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits under various federal and state consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Mike is a known litigator in the financial services industry and has amassed several significant wins and industry-changing decisions in federal and state courts throughout the country. In addition to assisting clients with their litigation needs, Mike also regularly advises clients on how to proactively reduce their legal risks.
Prior to law school, Mike was a radio producer for the country’s largest syndicate in New York City. In his spare time, Mike volunteers with various charitable organizations in the New Orleans community.
