Sean P. Kerr practices primarily in the Firm’s Consumer Defense Section and Commercial Litigation Section. He focuses on defending collection agencies, creditors, debt buyers, and other financial institutions in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits brought under federal and state consumer protection and commercial statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
While in law school, Sean served as a Director on the Board of Advocates. He also competed in various moot court and negotiation competitions, including the Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition and the Whitten-Burrage Negotiation Competition.
When not working, Sean enjoys golfing, reading, cooking with his family, and following his favorite sports team - Chelsea Football Club
