Thomas J. Fox practices primarily in the Firm’s Consumer Defense Section and Commercial Litigation Section. He focuses on defending collection agencies, creditors, debt buyers, and other financial institutions in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits brought under federal and state consumer protection and commercial statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
While in law school, Tom represented his school in the Charleston School of Law National Moot Court Competition, where he and his teammate won Best Petitioner’s Brief. Tom also practiced under a provisional license while in law school, helping the underserved community in the Champaign, Illinois area.
